Music class participation are based on the students being a positive participant in class. They also include behavior. Points will be deducted from daily grades for students who don't participate or continue disruptive behavior after being warned.

I apologize this wasn't up sooner - I had no internet over the weekend, so had to wait until I got back in town to post.
I am so excited about this play. I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and the fact that so many of you were willing to step out of your comfort zone and try out even when it meant doing so would make you a little vulnerable! That being said - this has been one of the most difficult plays to cast. Lots of parts and lots of talented students. I apologize if you did not get your first choice - but lots of thought and prayer has gone into this to try and make it the best production possible and put everyone in the right spot. The person in parenthesis will be the understudy - meaning, they should at least become familiar with the songs and lines in case something happens and the person cast can't perform...

Just a reminder about the dates of our school performances. Below you will find the dates of each performance and which grades participate. Please mark those that apply to your
student(s) on your calendar now and plan to attend. These performances are the culmination of many weeks of work in our music classes and all students are expected to participate. Music grades may be affected for those students who do not participate.
Fall Musical (Grades 5-8) November 14th (Sunday) 1 pm
*Christmas Services (Grades K-8) December 15th (Wed) 7 pm
December 24th (Friday) 6 pm
Spring Musical (Grades K-8) May 19th (Thursday) 7 pm
* only students who can participate in both Christmas services will be considered for solos or speaking parts. However, participating in both services does not guarantee a solo or speaking part
